The Library Comes to You!
The Welland Public LibraryÂ is committed to providing off-site delivery and promotion of library materials and services to under-served customers and those unable to use library services in the traditional manner to encourage literacy, joy of reading and increase the prominence of the library in the community.
We can visit you at your location! Share our enthusiasm for reading and books as we describe a variety of books for different age groups and interests. Find out about specific library programs by having a staff member visit you or having a deposit collection of books delivered on a regular basis throughout the year.

When you are unable to visit the Library, we will visit you .Â A library volunteerÂ can deliver reading materials to youÂ on a monthly basis.
How to Become a Shut-In Borrower
To qualify for this service you are:
- A resident of the City of Welland
- Unable to use the library because of ill health, or a visual or physical disability
- Require the service for a minimum of three months

We offer a convenient service to our readers who live in Senior Citizensâ€™ and Nursing Homes.Â A selction of regular and large print books are delivered as a deposit collection on a regular basis throughout the year for residents to borrow.
